The first cast......

My project is starting to take some very rudimentary shape.  I know of a few businesses from the upstate who might be interested in becoming sponsors of the event.  Also, I have a few people I can ask to be my mentor and have also received loads of tips from family, friends and friends of friends.  Even better, everyone I have discussed it with seems to be excited and on board.  With all of that said, I can't wait to get this show on the road.

    Lane, you are right on track with this project. You have the talent and skill necessary to bring it to pass. All the best to you. I eat fish, but I don't fish4fish.

    A concept would be to do a 'safe fishing; course for the younger kids at Oakbrook (ages 5-10) who do not have a lot of fishing experience, set up prior to the actual fishing trip - parents might be happy to pay/donate $ to the cause for some one-on-one education of their children as to safe fishing techniques.
